In 2023, our company contracted a project to build a steel structure plant in the Philippines. Our company provided them with the design drawings and production materials of the entire steel structure plant.

Steel selection strategy
1. The main structure is "rigid and flexible"
Steel columns/beams: Q355B low-alloy high-strength steel (yield strength 355MPa)
▸ 18% lighter than traditional Q235
▸ -20℃ low-temperature impact toughness achieved by adding niobium-vanadium alloy

2. "Tailor-made" for special parts
Roof system: aluminum-zinc-coated steel sheet (AZ150)
▸ Corrosion resistance is 3 times that of ordinary galvanized sheet
▸ Achieve century-long durability with 360° locking process

3. "Strong core and dense network" of connection nodes
Use 10.9-grade high-strength bolts (M24-M30)

4. Q390GJC earthquake-resistant steel is used for key nodes
▸ The deformation angle after the earthquake is 1/50 and the structure remains intact

5. The overall structure is mainly made of S355JR high-strength H-steel components
Among them, H-steel accounts for the main material, using 15,000 tons.
600 tons of angle steel and channel steel were used as structural steel.

Application of 30-meter span variable-section H-shaped steel beam
▸ Gradual change in web thickness (12-20mm)
▸ Realize open space without center column to meet flexible layout of production line

▶ Efficient use of ultra-thin steel plate
The wall system uses 2.5mm thick corrugated steel plate
▸ Achieve equivalent 4mm strength through "wave peak reinforcement" design
▸ Save XX million yuan in material cost

▶ Green value closed loop of steel
The recyclability of steel structure reaches 90%

Use customized tailings from steel mills to reduce scrap by 27%

Real record of steel technology breakthroughs
▸ Challenge: Corrosion resistance requirements of pickling workshop (PH value ≤ 2.5)

▸ Solution:
Base material: S31803 duplex stainless steel (Cr22%+Ni5%)
Coating: Three-layer PE anti-corrosion system (300μm)
Weld: Laser cladding stainless steel alloy layer

This cooperation has laid a solid foundation for us to open up the local infrastructure market in the Philippines and also developed our local agents and distributors.
